asdf jkl;

Hello Blog thing ... remember me? Well after Vince's reminder I thought I'd better get back to it. Many things have happened in the new year. I have a part in a play for Script Happens which has been a blast to work on with everyone. Seeing all of the shows for Script Happens last night has me pumped knowing that we are all going to be giving three evenings of a nice mix of good quality entertainment...actually four evenings counting our dress...

Oh, I gained back the 10 lbs I lost...that really sucks.

As of January 29 I have been (paperwork completed) married for seven years.

I am still struggling with becomeing once again involved in a church as I feel I shouldn't but should...figure that one out.

I am getting an itch...no not that kind...to get back to work. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy the stay at home dad role but wow its hard to believe it has been almost three years.

Edit> this is really ______ a knock on the door just now and a gentleman carrying a bible and three pamphlets with a website www.watchtower.org go figure.

:-) It has been fun working with you on Coelacanth, Gilbert!!

Welcome back to blogging Gilbert!

I understand the issue of wanting to be at a church, but not knowing where to go. It can be daunting. But I then remember that the best way to worship our Lord is through the body of a church. I am most connected and closer to God when I am active in a church.

If you are looking for one in your area, try Kings Valley Wesleyan. There is a great group of people there, a wonderful Senior Pastor and there is lots of opportunity to contribute through drama or other artistic endevors.

Good luck in your search.

Dre - thanks - fun to work with you also.

Greg - Thanks, but for me I don't think it so much where to go to church I think it is probably more of a guilt thing because of being involved for many years with many fine people but feeling like I shouldn't be there because I can't bring myself to "believe" in many things. ie heaven & hell to name a couple.

I always feel closest to God on the Beach. Listening to the waves hit the rocks and looking out at all that blue makes me feel so tiny. I don't believe a being that could create all that bothers with bricks and mortar or writes books.
But that's just my opinion.
Great job in Coelacanth... it was a really good show.

Thanks Blaine, I like the way you put that. Thanks for your opinion. The show was so much fun glad you enjoyed it.

There are other options too Gilbert. Research the other religions; perhaps part of the problem stems from the belief structure not suiting you and your spiritual needs. I did much reading and when I finally found the one right for me, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted.

Thanks Lisa
