Switching off all power

Well the time has come to have the power shut off in our old home, sometime this morning I guess. The upgrade will at least be one day. We are doubling the amp entrance and I guess now there are these things called circuit breakers that are being put in...we must keep our insurance company happy.

Wouldn't you know it

Well I thought I was going to have a very social weekend but it wasn't in the cards I guess. Friday night slept(sort of) out in the tent with my son he really enjoyed it but I think my tenting days are near over unless I use some kind of air mattress to ease the back discomfort. So Saturday I couldn't sleep(?) any longer so I got up around six and started clearing some more land. I figured I'd drop over to the Culbersons for a bit to help them move, maybe take in the Shakespeare potluck, drop by the SJTC volunteer BBQ and say hello to the pourn cleesh-aye crew to cap of the day/night. Wrong ... after a couple of hours of clearing brush, I felt blechh and had to lay down on the couch, a couple of hours later I had to get up turn on two fans to cool me down drink some water (hard to do) felt really blah. Struggled to stay on my feet long enough to take some Ibuprofen and then back to the couch to try to recu...uh ...get better. I was up again around six to enjoy a healthy supper and was only then beginning to feel better and not have every little sound irritate the hell out of me. So that was that, anyway hope to see you folks soon at some not to distant outings or innings. I am feeling much better today.

Short but sweet.

I went for a short walk yesterday wearing my new sneaks, the kids were keen and the dog was in absolute shock to see his leash appear. It was mid afternoon and just steamin hot but we were all up for it for our own reasons. The sneakers feel great so far but I want to give them a real test real soon.

A Midsummer Nights Dream is going very very well and we have two shows left Friday and Saturday 7pm and you know, through this I realize just how much I miss having a crew to do make-up. Sincere thanks to the people who have been trying to help me though.

Tonight is opening night for Theatre on the Edge at the Mary H Oland Theatre in the New Brunswick Museum at Market Square and I am so looking forward to seeing the show tonght! Break a leg everyone!!!

aaayyynnnhhhhh....tnuht,tnuht,tnuht,tnuht,tnuht...What's up Doc?

The results are in and I feel so much better. Yes the Doctor has things for me to work on, but the xrays showed my lungs were clear and other tests Okey Dokey'd my heart, and my blood pressure is normal again.(Knocks very quickly on wood!) He was also happy that I have taken walks the last few days and even yesterday I walked from the lower west side to Dever Rd to get to my appointment. Then on to Cox's and Canadian Tire. There was a beautiful breeze and I never had to stop from being tired or out of breath! Last night I noticed that my feet were very sore from the walk but the rest of me feels fine. I guess I will have to invest in some quality footware as these Brooks sneakers I have now will obviously not give me the comfort or support I require if I am going to be walking on a regular basis.

If anyone has any suggestions as to a good quality footwear for walking please let me know as I don't have any idea what to get.

Well its off to the beach with the kids and then tonight another rehearsal for " A Midsummer Nights Dream" which is coming together really well. I hope you will be able to take in the show which runs next week.
