Don't be deterred by a minor set back. Keep in mind when you start getting in shape you start toning muscles and muscles are more dense and heavier than fat, so you may be burning fat and losing inches but not weight. In fact a lot of people find that if they start working out etc that they actual gain weight before they see much loss. Keep up the walks and eat healthier and things will go your way.
